Jim Sawitzke serves as EVP, Homebuilder Finance at Arixa Capital, where he is responsible for expanding Arixa's presence in the homebuilder market, developing strategic relationships, and delivering innovative financing solutions to residential builders nationwide.

With nearly 30 years of experience in residential construction lending and real estate finance, Mr. Sawitzke helps builders access the capital and resources needed to grow their businesses while supporting Arixa's continued expansion in the homebuilder market. His extensive background spans business development, loan origination, credit underwriting, portfolio management, and special assets, providing him with a comprehensive perspective across the full lending lifecycle and making him a trusted advisor to experienced homebuilders.

Prior to joining Arixa, Mr. Sawitzke served as Director and Head of Sales at Brio Homebuilder Solutions, a Blackstone portfolio company. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years at M&T Bank as Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development, where he helped grow the bank's construction lending business in the western United States and specialized in financing residential construction projects. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at AmTrust Bank and JPMorgan Chase, where he managed business development initiatives, commercial real estate loan portfolios, and special asset strategies.

Mr. Sawitzke earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Management.
