Greg Hebner serves as Managing Director and majority owner of Arixa Capital, a leading private real estate lender and credit manager founded in 2006. Since inception, Arixa has originated over $7 billion in loans, financing more than 14,000 housing units across 23 states. The Firm manages multiple private funds for global investors and has demonstrated consistent performance over a 15+ year track record.

Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Hebner leads Arixa’s investment strategy, originations, and operations across its vertically integrated lending platform, which today services over $2.3 billion in assets, making Arixa one of the largest independently owned alternative residential lenders in the U.S. With more than 25 years of real estate experience, Mr. Hebner has been the driving force behind the Firm’s growth. He designed the Firm’s unique client experience model, generating best-in-class client satisfaction, strong client retention, and sustained origination growth. Under his leadership, Arixa has repeatedly set new annual origination records for the Firm and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies on the Inc. 5000 list for three consecutive years.

Over the next 12─18 months, Mr. Hebner is focused on expanding Arixa’s national lending footprint, targeting annual originations of over $3 billion while thoughtfully pursuing strategic platform partnerships to meaningfully drive long-term AUM growth. This expansion is guided by the Firm’s disciplined credit risk management and continuous portfolio monitoring, refined over 15+ years of private fund management with no investor losses in any reporting period.

Prior to joining Arixa, Mr. Hebner was Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Community Rebuild Partners (CRP), a California-based real estate development firm that acquired, renovated, and sold residential real estate properties. Prior to CRP, Mr. Hebner held senior roles at NuView Financial Services, a provider of loss mitigation services for the residential mortgage industry, and Sorento Capital, a private asset management firm focused on consumer-related financial services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hebner worked in financial, strategic, and operational roles for The Walt Disney Company, Premark International, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Mr. Hebner received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois. He is a frequent contributor and speaker on real estate investing and mortgage lending at various industry events and conferences and regularly teaches residential real estate investing courses at UCLA Extension’s Real Estate Program.
