Tanya Toko joined Arixa Capital, a leading private real estate lender and alternative investment manager, as its Chief Financial Officer in 2025. She is a seasoned accounting and financial executive with more than two decades of experience leading financial planning, financial reporting, and capital strategy across real estate and financial services companies.

Prior to joining Arixa, Ms. Toko served as Senior Vice President and West Region Controller at Brookfield Properties, where she oversaw financial strategy for a $6 billion real estate portfolio, spanning office, retail, and residential assets. Her work included financial reporting, managing debt financing, treasury operations, and tax compliance for REITs, private funds, and institutional vehicles.

Previously, Ms. Toko held financial leadership roles at Colony Capital, where she directed global financial reporting and regulatory compliance across U.S. and European markets, and supported the company’s expansion through M&A transactions. She began her career at Deloitte & Touche, advising public and private real estate and financial services clients on tax audits, and ensuring SEC, GAAP, and industry compliance.

Ms. Toko holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both cum laude, from the University of Southern California. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Ms. Toko is actively involved in the community, volunteering through L.A. Works.
